The nag champa incense is one of my favorite to burn for its cleansing and clearing properties. It is believed to originate in India using oil from the champaca flower as the main ingredient. This attempt at recreation features top notes of powder, with middle notes of amber, lily of the valley and rose in a base of sandalwood, dark musk, patchouli and violet. I enhance the fragrance with a little added patchouli and sandalwood plus a special ingredient reminiscent of the actual incense. If you want a sweet, earthy, calming and warming fragrance then this one is for you.
